Bridge of Forgiveness in Nestar
Puente de la Perdiz. Popularly known as Puente Perdiz, this bridge is located in the northern town of Nestar over the Rubagón River, a tributary of the Pisuerga River. Of Roman origin, it is dated to the late 1st century BC. Constructed with large, cushioned sandstone blocks, it features five arches. It was built by the same engineers who designed the road connecting Herrera de Pisuerga (Pisoraca) with Santander (Portus Blendium).
