Church of San Martín in Mudá
The Church of San Martín in Mudá is a high-altitude gem. The Church of San Martín in Mudá is located in a small town in the Palencia Mountain range. The Church of San Martín, dating back to the 16th century, still retains elements of its original 13th-century Romanesque construction, such as its doorway, belfry, and a small window. However, it features a simple doorway with pointed archivolts over columns. The belfry is characteristic of the area, with three open arches and topped with a gable. There is also a narrow slit window located on the south wall. The best part is the surrounding environment, situated at the foot of a large rocky mass where you can climb up to its cross.
