Cueva del Cobre, source of the Pisuerga.

The Cueva del Cobre is located next to the source of the Pisuerga River. The Cueva del Cobre is also known as Cueva del Coble and is situated in La Pernía. It is located in the area of Valle de los Redondos, Santa Maria de Redondo. For many years, it was considered the source of the Pisuerga River. Later, it was discovered that the actual source of this river is much higher up, in the Covarrés Glacial Cirque. It is at a higher altitude but at the lower part of the Valdecebollas peak. A visit is essential due to its beauty and surroundings.
